Once you have loaded a video, you can view your transcription directly from the Video Analysis Workspace.
Viewing Transcripts
To view the transcript for your video, click the “Transcript” tab under the video player in the Video Analysis Workspace.
Note: A machine-generated transcript is displayed for every video. If you have ordered a human transcript, it will appear in place of the machine transcript when available. Keep in mind, human transcripts are far more accurate than machine transcripts and should be ordered when accuracy is at a premium.
Every transcript in the workspace is segmented by its individual audio statements. To read along in a transcript while watching the video, you can either manually scroll through the transcript or click “Autoscroll on” to have the transcript automatically scroll with the audio.
Managing Transcripts
Hovering over a statement with your cursor reveals three additional features - a timestamp for when the statement was made within the video, a button to play the contents of the statement in the video player, and a scissors icon, which you can use to add the contents to the showreel as a clip.
Once a statement clip has been added to the showreel, it can be edited or reordered in the same way as any other clip. See Building Showreels to learn more about managing clips in the showreel.
Note: Videos that were loaded to Video Insights prior to your organization’s migration to the new user interface will need to be analyzed manually. If you have any previously uploaded videos, click the “Analyze” button within the Highlights pane to kick off the analysis process.
Downloading Transcripts
If you have download permissions, you may download your transcripts from The Project Page using the "..." icon to the right of the video in the "Archives" section.
